Went to dv with my 2 nieces and daughter.  My daughter caught her personal largemouth and it was a monster. We ended up with 55 blugils and 4 LMB (2 for daughter and 2 for me)  We kept 10 blugils for dinner and released the bass...Enjoy the pix.  God bless.....Edwin

Went to DVL this last Saturday with 2 of my homies from High school.  They recently came back from tour from Iraq.  Thank the Lord that they are back and safe.  So the next obvious thing was to take 'em fishing.  They weren't much of a bass angler so I hooked 'em up with some blugil.  The action was non stop and this is the type of fishing (or should I say catching) that they like.  While they were blugillin' I was still looking for bass and that I did.  I saw some bigger variety largemouth chasing after the gils.  So I started chucking a BPS tandem white n chartruse 1/2 ounce spinner bait.  Almost immediated I had some following.  After retrieving different ways for about 45 mins I finally got one to commit.  It has to be one of the better fish I've caught at DV.  Shortly after, I caught another one, a lil bigger than the first one.  I think I finally got the right retrieve down.  Then everything shut off.  Not a bite, not even the blugils.  It was pretty weird, like some one turned of the switch.  Anyways....that was the sign to go home.  Ended up with one trout, about 100 blugils, and 3 bass (I caught all three).  We kept the trout and about 10 blugils and the rest were released safely.  Here's the pic of the big bass.  Anyone want to guess the weight?  I left my scale at home this day.  God bless....Edwin
